It's ridiculous to keep financial institutions afloat that only repackage and resell debt. It's even more ridiculous when you realize that excess capital investments part of the cause of the bubble. But when the government helps those guys dealing in paper and air and refuses to help a company which actually produces and exports goods, I get really pissed off.
Also you may not agree with this but: this too-big-to-fail quality should be considered the next time the government oversees a merger between two ginormous corporations. >:( A little fear is healthy for companies.
