Yeah I am pretty damned impressed. While I am a support of Obama by default, since all my candidates dropped out, I am actually very glad he is there and still in the fight. He handled the stupidity of Clinton and the Reverend there quite well.
I know a lot of people are still going on and on about his lack of experience, but I think this reaction shows he knows how to handle himself well and can think his way through things. Or at least has surrounded himself with people who can advise him well too. Probably a little of both.
There's a lot of subtlety in that speech I think a lot of people are going to miss too. Americans in general are not known for their ability to queue in on such things. LOL.
I'm actually very surprised that he got 37+ minutes on CNN to present his entire speech instead of it being mauled to death by the media into sound bites and out of context rhetoric.
I just hope the democrats wake up and see that *that* is what we need in the White House. Leadership that doesn't ignore and marginalize. Not more of the same crap we've had since Reagan.
If they do, they may earn my vote this year. We'll see.
